What to expect
Shrink wrap is a heavy plastic membrane that is heated until it shrinks tightly to the shape of the roof. Seams are heat-welded, so wind has nothing to grab and water has no gaps to get through.
It has become the preferred alternative to blue tarps after hurricanes, tornadoes and major hail and wind events.

Questions
Shrink Wrap FAQ
Why is shrink wrap better than a tarp?
Tarps are held down at the edges and flap in wind. Shrink wrap is sealed to the roof shape with welded seams, so it stays put.
How long can it stay on?
Typically several months, which covers most claim and scheduling timelines.
Is it only for commercial roofs?
No. We shrink wrap homes too.
