Roof systems
Systems We Install & Repair
Every roof is matched to the building, the slope and the climate. These are the systems our crews install and repair.
Low-slope & flat roofs
TPO Roofing
Thermoplastic polyolefin is a single-ply membrane laid over a solid substrate, usually an engineered insulation system, on flat or low-slope roofs. Membranes commonly run from 40 to 80 mil thick, and seams are heat-welded into a continuous watertight surface.
Learn more about TPO ›PVC Roofing
Polyvinyl chloride membranes install much like TPO but hold up especially well against chemicals, grease and exhaust, which makes them a strong fit for restaurants and industrial roofs. They can be mechanically attached or fully adhered.
Learn more about PVC ›EPDM Roofing
EPDM, often called a rubber roof, is a flexible single-ply membrane suited to low-slope and flat commercial roofs. Fully adhered systems stay flexible through heat and cold and give long service life with routine maintenance.
Learn more about EPDM ›Modified Bitumen & Torch Down
SBS modified bitumen sheets are heated as they roll out, bonding them to the substrate and welding the seams into a watertight layer. A durable choice for commercial roofs that see foot traffic.
Learn more about Modified Bitumen ›Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
Alternating layers of bitumen and reinforced felts form a redundant waterproof membrane, usually finished with gravel, slag or mineral granules. We repair and replace existing BUR roofs.
Learn more about Built-Up (BUR) ›Roof Coatings
A coating can extend the life of a roof that is still structurally sound but leaking from age, UV wear or corrosion, often at a fraction of the cost of replacement. We apply silicone, acrylic, asphalt and polyurethane systems.

Asphalt Shingle
A fiberglass mat coated in asphalt and finished with stone granules for weather protection and color. The most common roof on homes and many condominium and multi-family buildings.
Learn more about Asphalt Shingle ›Metal Roofing
Overlapping metal panels fastened to framing or a solid deck. We install and repair standing seam, R-panel, batten panel and other ribbed profiles on commercial, church and residential buildings.
Learn more about Metal ›Tile Roofing
Overlapping tiles fastened to a solid deck on sloped roofs. Tile is a specialized trade, and a well-installed tile roof can last a century. Available in terracotta, concrete, stone-coated steel and composite.
Learn more about Tile ›Slate Roofing
Natural slate is cut from metamorphic rock and can also last 100 years or more. Our crews repair and restore slate on historic properties to match the original character of the building.
